Due to increased activity within Drilling Operations, we need to strengthen our offshore team and are looking for candidates for 3 newly established positions as Subsea Mechanic.  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

•  Mechanical/hydraulic engineering degree. Extensive relevant work experience may compensate for formal education.
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Sufficient computer skills such as IFS and SAP.
• Systematic familiarisation / competence assessment(s) for relevant positions. (For example, Mechanic, Hydraulic technician, Wellbay.
• Experience with maintenance of Well Control Equipment (Subsea BOP, Surface BOP, Pressure control equipment and drilling equipment).
• The candidate must be highly motivated and flexible.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Assist and partake in activities like running/pulling BOP/Marine Riser, function and pressure testing and maintenance activities.
• Perform maintenance/repairs to the well control & motion compensating systems and all associated systems in accordance to maintenance program and procedures.
• Daily inspections to verify status of equipment and report status.
• Obtain a good knowledge of the systems on-board. To be able to maintain and operate all subsea related equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failure.
