We are now looking for a competent and enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join our team in Bergen.

Qualifications: 

  • Technical, Bachelor or Master degree within engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience

Job description: 

  • Estimation, concept, studies, engineering & design, project execution
  • Oil & Gas, wind & green technology
  • Calculation and modelling
  • Offshore surveys, workshop and installation follow up offshore and at yard stays
  • Coordination and mechanical completion

Experience: 

  • Finite Element method (FEM)
  • 2D design experience (Microstation and/or Autocad)
  • 3D design experience (Inventor/E3D)
  • Good theoretical understanding concerning statics and steel constructions
  • Practical knowledge concerning fabrication of steel structures
  • Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as Norsok, DNVGL and Eurocode

Personal skills: 

  • Committed, motivated and safety conscientious
  • Creative and constructive
  • Determined and result oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English as a minimum
  • Team player and developer
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Extensive computer skills
