OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER (OIM)

Our Jack-upLinus is looking for Offshore Installations Manager (OIM) who aremotivated to facilitate and contribute to the Company’s growth.

QUALIFICATION

STCW Deck Officer Certificate Class 1/ STCW II/2 UL – Master Certificate

Unlimited DP-Certificate (for DP-rig/vessel).

Systematic familiarization/competence assessment(s) for position

Documented practical experience as Stability Section Leader from mobile units.

Documented good all-round competence relating to the platform’s different systems with particular emphasis on all systems relating to hull and stability. Management experience and competence required. Completed training in the company’s governing documentation.

Fluent written/oral English language.

TASK, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OIM is fully authorized to exercise his/her responsibility as the highest authority on board. In well control situation, OIM shall designate all responsibilities related to well control activities to Drilling Section Lead, but still shall have absolute authority related to safety of the crew and unit.

OIM has absolute authority to instigate such measures as he/she regards necessary to safeguard the safety of the crew and unit.

OIM is authorized to deviate from planned procedures if necessary in order to safeguard people and equipment.
OIM is authorized to deploy all personnel on board and to assign them such tasks as he/she considers necessary for safety on board.

Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is the highest authority on board and has overall responsibility for all personnel onboard, ensuring that all crew meets the applicable competence requirements at all times, and that manning is adequate for operating the rig in a safe and proper manner.

OIM has overall responsibility for the environment and must ensure that the Company’s plans, procedures and attitudes are known and complied with in matters relating to unwanted spills etc.

OIM is responsible for ensuring that alarm instructions, drills, emergency response plans, operation procedures, instructions, etc. are up-to-date and complied with.

OIM is responsible for the mandatory certificates are valid.

OIM is responsible to hold the OIM function as described in ISPS, with reference to the company’s updated ISPS procedures.
