Installation Supervisor

Our people in Odfjell Rig Inspection Services is a dedicated and QHSE-oriented part of Odfjell Technology Drilling Operation, serving the following areas: Rig and Platform maintenance, Drilling engineering services including EPCI, MODU and fixed installations, New build projects, Yard stays, Technology projects & improvement processes. 

The position as Installation Supervisor will be responsible for leading and following up installation work both off- and onshore, to ensure that we deliver quality work to our clients.
This is an offshore position but it may be needed for temporary assignments at one of our offices or other locations. 

       Tasks:

·         Supervision and coordinate activities on offshore installations and during yard-stay

·         HSE leadership for activities offshore

·         Responsible for right manning during installation phase in projects

·         Daily status reports to platform, clients, and Engineering onshore

·         Preform MC and Commissioning on projects including handover to customer

·         Continuous updating of documentation during projects

·         Provide work permits and energy isolation certificate for all Odfjell installation work offshore

·         Provide SJA for all Odfjell installation work offshore where Company Management

·         System procedure don’t cover the task

·         Establish and follow up technical clarification towards engineering and project onshore

·         Estimate and make tenders for new jobs

·         Occasionally work at office onshore

 Qualifications:

·         Minimum 5 year experience as offshore supervisor – preferably multi discipline

·         Trade certificate in mechanical or electro discipline

·         Competence with drilling equipment, drilling process and SPS

·         Technical trade school or equivalent. Long experience can compensate for missing education

·         Long experience within piping, welding and construction projects

·         Offshore experience from Mobile Offshore Drilling Units

·         General good knowledge to IT programs and ProCoSys, STID, IFS and SAP will be an asset
