Job Description

The Projects and Engineering department in Stavanger is experiencing increasedworkload and a wider portfolio and is therefore looking for more colleagues. Areyou our new process engineer?

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
• Flow and heat transfer calculations
• Preliminary and detail process design
• Project work in multidiscipline teams
• Active participation in HAZOP, HAZID, design reviews etc.
• Prepare relevant necessary process and system documentation, such as:
     -P&IDs, PFDs, UFDs, etc

Knowledge,Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical, Bachelor or Master’s degree within engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as Norsok and DNV
• Experience with work towards Norwegian exploration and production companies
• Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with modification projects on drilling facilities is an advantage
• Ability for performing 2D design using e.g. Microstations is considered an advantage
